Student opportunities and activities

At Tanilba Bay Public School we offer a range of co-curricular programs to support students goals both inside and outside of the classroom.

Our programs may include:

• school sport, representative sport, inter-school competitions
• creative and performing arts groups and showcases
• cultural and language activities

• public speaking and debating
• K-2 swim scheme

Bell times

Playground supervision - 8.35 - 9.05am

School day starts - 9:05am

Lunch - 11:05am to 11:50am

Recess - 1:20pm to 1:50pm

School day ends - 3:05pm

Canteen

Our wonderful canteen is open every day. You can order lunch and or recess on any day.

We use the Flexischools App where you have the added convenience of being able to place your order any time.

The cut off for any given day is 8:30am. You even have the option to order a weeks' worth at a time, if you wish.

We provide a wide selection of hot, & cold foods and sandwiches, rolls and wraps.

Parent portal

At Tanilba Bay Public School we use the School Bytes parent portal app to make communication and admin easier for families.

The School Bytes app allows parents to:

• give consent for excursions
• sign necessary forms
• respond to attendance alerts
• make payments
• submit change of address/details
• apply for extended leave
• view school calendar
• keep up to date with latest school news and events

Our school hosts a variety of events throughout the year, from fun-filled celebrations to educational excursions.
