Our Learning Support Teachers assist our students through a wide variety of roles:
Learning Assistance Support Teachers (LAST's) work with the school, teachers, parents and caregivers to identify and assess students experiencing difficulties in basic areas of learning, as well as working with the school's learning support team to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate programs for students experiencing difficulties in learning. This support can be provided in a variety of ways, including; individual support, small group settings and team teaching while focusing on the specific needs of each child.
