On Thursday 20th September at 12noon we will be holding our annual Infants Spelling Bee in the hall.
Students will participate in class finals prior to the event and two class representatives will be selected to participate in the finals. Parents will be notified if their child progresses to the finals round.
A list of possible words has been uploaded to the school website. We ask that you practice the words at home with your child. If you do not have direct access to the website please request the lists from the classroom teacher. Students will be asked to spell a given word out loud correctly, with the aid of a whiteboard.
Although lists have been provided students will also be asked to spell alternative and additional words in order to select a grade winner.
Below is a sample of words students may be asked to spell at the Finals.
